About Ill Advised

Ill Advised first found hardcore in 1992 at the tender age of 11 via the gift of pirate radio stations.. He was captured by the totally different sounding music as played on stations such as cyndicut FM. From here he made it his mission to find as much of this music as he could!

Forward to 1996 and his first set of decks are now on the scene, jungle is the order of the day and the record collection is kicking off. Until 1998 he is buying mainly jungle/drum and bass and the odd bit of happy hardcore, then his first trip to Pure Science at Atomics in Maidstone turns him into a pure D+B head and it stays that way until 2001 when he feels the music lost the feeling he so much loved.

Where to go now? Back to the old skool! In 2003 he sets himself up a very modest home studio and finds http://www.backtotheoldskool.com where there are producers making tracks in the old skool style that he loved so much as he was growing up. 'Hardcore Breaks' is now bigger than ever and going from strength to strength. He aims to be part of this amazing scene and to help it grow - cue 'Right Touch Records'......
